Yep, so I totally did the Teenage Meme. It was most entertaining, I must say. Everyone should totally do one 8D Not much has gone on. I chatted with Heather tonight, that was cool. And I must say... Yes, for real. Even though I'm the only one who looks at this LJ 8D Ah well. It shocks even me, I suppose! But before the mad artz, I must say... Xena tonight was most pleasing 83 Hence the Callisto avatar <3 <3 But I'm so worried for Gabrielle =< Speaking of me being fangirly, I certainly seem to be more into fandom lately *I consider this a good thing* Reading more fanfiction and stuff x3 Like Ice Age. Yes, Ice Age SLASH to be exact. Love me some crazy slash that either no one has heard of, or people think you're freaky for 8D Also picked up on Harry Potter again. Watching Sword and the Stone inspired me to, with Merlin and his craziness, woot! Okay, artz tiem 83  Speaking of Sword and the Stone... Merlin! It's Merlin 8D Managably sized, no less. The original scan for this is HUUUGE. which will be good for when I color this and make it pretty and stuff. But who knows when thet'll be D8 He was fun to draw though, but next time I'll have him do something vastly more interesting than standing. This was mostly to get a feel for his general... *ahem* Yes. I'm alive, and, more miraculously, posting to LJ! I've meant to for the past month or so, but yeah... I like, have barely drawn anything. After the move, my art just went 'blah' I lost all drive for it. Hell, even now, my art drive is super fuckin low. It just happens that I did a sketchdump of *GASPSHOCKHORROR* Original characters! Alright, Alright, the part everyone has been waiting for: JIMMY MACELROY AND CHAZZ MICHAEL MICHAELS ARE FIGURE SKATING!! Hot damn. I love and curse Aika for getting me back into the fandom 8D There's more fanfiction and stuff for it now than there was my last round with this delicious movie. I <3 it so much! So much I even had a dream about it. I woke up so 'WTF?!' from this dream too. It was hot and scary and weird and most delightful. It's nothing much more than Chazz and Jimmy making out and having sex. But the freaky awesome messed up part was that... dun dun dun! ... I was Jimmy. Jimmy MacElroy. His body and everything. What the hell?! I can't resist saying it. The Chazz was good. Good. I feel so messed up now. I'm a lesbian, and I had a dream that I was a man having sex with another man, and it was Jimmy MacElroy and Chazz Michael Michaels. Yet again, WTF?! xD It was cool though. For realz. I meant to post this last night. But then I got lazy. But hey, no one reads this anyways so whatever 8D Though in regards to the crazy old woman thing, I might write about that in my dA journal as well since it's so bizzare.
But we shall start with Sunday! I had a most pleasant day. Kent and I went out the the... Eagle Ridge Mall, I believe it's called? Anyways, it's the mall in the town he lives and it was really nice there. Like, they have a friggin carousel in their food court 8D It reminded me of, but still isn't quite as nice as the Huntington Mall, a very excellent place.
All this talk of malls makes me want to play Urban Dead =D
But yes. so we hung out there for a while, and hot damn they have such a nice bookstore. I am suddenly maddenly accepting that Lakeland Square is kinda lame. But hey, it's still a mall, and they still have the necessities - Walden Books, FYE, Spencer, and should I ever scrape up the money to go and buy some, get my band shirts at Hot Topic. Evil store though it is.
But the true gem of the day was going to this Asian restaurant near his place. Wow.... just WOW. Such selection! Such superb food! Such OMFGkefjkshjsahk ALL YOU CAN EAT CRABLEGS!! Though sadly I ate none, as everything else was slightly too tempting. And the last time I had crab legs I was a tiny bit sick afterwards, so I wasn't too eager to have them again so soon yet.
But after finishing off a couple plates of AWESOME I decided to finally try a few bits of food I've never had before. I recognized all of them actually, but I've never had the fortune to be in a place that had them. So let's see what Juno ate for the very first time *and you know I was so pleased with myself* I tried Dim Sum. I have read about it before, but I actually cannot remember what the hell is actually in it. Whatever it was though was pretty damn good. Though for some reason, I didn't like the taste of the wrapper *confused* Maybe it's cause I was so full? I only did get these things after I had eaten my fill in case I didn't like them much. Oh well. I will be eating Dim Sum again when I get the chance.
Hee hee, I also had my very first ever sweet bean bun. They're so cute! And you can't help but feel adorable when you're eating one, it's like your imbibing is cuteness xD I found it most delicious, and I can't wait to try it again.
I had this interesting sort of rice roll that was just labelled 'Chicken and Sticky Rice' I'm not sure what it is but it was quite heavily wrapped in seaweed and smelled almost like coffee. I was advised to remove said seaweed before consumption, that it was only cooked in it for flavor 8D I knew they couldn't be anything terribly suspicious about this food since it's Chicken and Sticky Rice, two fodos, that, in my book, you could never ever go wrong with. EVER. It tasted... ahh... hm. I don't know if I liked it or not. If I ever go back *and I hope to god I do* I want to have another go with it. It had something else in it too, but I cannot remember what it's called and it's been driving me insane because I actually know what the hell it IS. Whatever.
I don't think there was anything else, really. I totally meant to try sushi, but then completely forgot D8 By then I was much too full. Oh well, I'll save my 'sushi virginity' for Aika anyways xD
On to the story of the crazy old bat who makes old people look bad because they do NOT deserve to be out on the road! So we're driving to work last night and right in the middle of the busy intesection near my house, when we pull up, there is a car smack in the middle of the intersection. You could tell there was no accident, but yeah... little brown care right in the center, other crs just flying by without a care in the world. People in Florida don't know how to drive or how to be you know, a normal friendly human being. Bastards. Anyways, Pat jumps out of the care because you can see through the side windows that there is a little old woman in this care, staring blankly ahead, unblinking. Since my mother is epileptic, we think she's maybe had a seizure, or hell, she could even be dead. So Pat ascertains that she is in fact alive and not in any sort of comatose state and then we follow her home. Pat steps out and has a word with her, and we find out that she is TOTALLY SMASHED. She had actually been out buying more wine! Woo! It's only Monday! Needless to say, Pat was rather angry, and with damn good reason. I already fullheartedly believe there should be stronger driving restrictions on old people but for her to be driving with a BAL to kill? What the hell. She was a batty old woman too, she still had her Christmas tree up inside her house, can see it plain as day in the window... *sigh* I almost feel sorry for her, but god, she's gonna get herself or someone else killed driving like that. I guess what had happened is she was crossing the intersection and saw that the light had turned red. So instead of just... y'know going she just stopped. Dead in the middle of the intersection. Cars flying by on all directions.
Jesus fucking christ.
Aaaaanyways.... To make this post even relatively worthwhile to anyone aside from myself, I bring you more Bellatrix!
Why do you have such bad posture Bellatrix? You should really fix that. All those years is Azakaban, I guess.... Her face came out kind of mannish. Whatever. I'm trying to kinda sketch daily, since I don't really do much else.
Okay, the writing of this journal has taken me far too long. It's time for me to go and eat now 8D

So I, ah... aquired Photoshop CS3. I've been a stalwart fan of PS7 for years now, but after trying CS3... Ooooh FUCK YES. SO AWESOME.

So I should have been working on the Fanart100 today. Especially given that I'm getting relatively close to being done with my first prompt , Outsides. But I didn't feel like doing much more than playing GTA: San Andreas and eating random bits of the pizza that Aika gave me last night. I also didn't wake up til like, 3 in the afternoon D8 So after a time I figured that if I wasn't gonna work on the Fanart100 then I ought to at least.... I dunno, scribble something, =D So I did! My drawing somehow feel slightly more productive knowing they're at least getting posted somewhere. Since I am approaching 600 deviations on dA, I figure I should sorta-kinda-maybe start trimming down what I post. I of course won't be taking any of my deviations out but rather being conscience of what I put up in the future. Meanwhile the rest get dumped here 8D In news that shockingly is NOT Potter related, I watched the first episode of Kirepapa today. OMFG, I want moar! 8D That was the cheesiest best fun I've had in forever! Adorable teenage boys' best friend and father fall in love and he's so totally okay with it xDDD Oooh, anime, how your completely unrealistic family situations amuse me so.... <3 That's about all I can think of at the moment. Indeed, I am. Possibly by the first. Of like , March. My Parents have located a new house for just about what we're paying now, and it's loads bigger (And it isn't the one I told Aika about previously, the one behind the Steak and Shake, lol) It IS still on the other side of town, thank heavens. I miss it there. EVERYONE ELSE I know LIVES THERE. Plus so many places to go, so many potential places to work, woo! It is unfortunate that the prospect of living behind the Steak and Shake may be gone though 8D It would have been nice! Though if the house we're going to look at tommorow falls through, that's where we're going anyways. Regardless of where, no matter what, we are moving in two wekks/one month, so glory hallelujah! And duuuude, Aika if you're reading this, we need to finish Air Master! xD The temptation to watch is so hard! There's only like what, five episodes left? So can't wait 83 Moar Art?! I suppose I'll take to posting things that I never got around to posting on dA in the meantime 8D There's a surprising amount of them!  Like this. Holy cow, Dec 8th? My style has remained quite surprisingly consistent, I am shocked 8D Let's see... Yes.  Aww, it's Draco! Crying to the mirror in Myrtles Bathroom no less. I considered this too shoddy to put up as a deviation, but nothings too crappy for LJ! Of course, it's not like there was real effort put into this anyways. I spent the last two Valentines Days with someone and... I dunno. I don't see all the hupbub of people flipping out over being single. It's not crazy fantastic if you're with someone either. But that may just be because we were several thousand miles away from eathother. Who knows. Like, the best thing about last years was that my father gave me this huge honking box of Ferero Rochers <3 <3 Like, I can't even remember what Heather and I did xD;; So sad! I remember our first VDay together though, we drew each other nice things and the like. It was quite nice 8) The only really good thing to come out of Valentines Day this year? Someone brought several boxes of Petit Fours to work 8D And as few people know, I LOVE ME SOME FANCY DESSERTS! The tinier and more highly decorated the better! SO fucking awesome. I wanna make Petit Fours now *And I might add, that was my first time ever having any* But they'd be so hard to make ;_; Those tiny bits of cake and icing and... ahhh... so hard! SO so happy! I have a working scanner again 8D
Yes, I do most of my stuff completely with Open Canvas, but it's still nice when I've drawn something up on paper and want to scan it and color it, or whatever. So awesome. I just drew a fanart *my very first!* of Milo Thatch from Atlantis; the Lost Empire, I LOVE that movie. It needs some crazy cleaning up - In fact, I might ink it.
Here it is, actually, I may as well use this LJ for what it was intended 8D
Shazam! Also I'm really excited because I can FINALLY color this picture I've done for tommy, it's her character Bridgette. I won't post it here though cause I want it to be a nice surprise for her 8D I might do it today so it can be a nice V-Day gift, buuuuut...

I do consider this to be the best fanart *fuck who am I kidding, ANY ART* I have done to date. Well, 'serious' art anyways, things aside from sketchdumps and comics and the like. This is my first decent attempt at painting, and excuse me, for I am pretty fucking pleased with myself 8D It's far from perfect, but I really am proud of it so far. I've painted the grass in today, but it definitely needs tweaking. I look very forward to painting the trees, though they'll take nothing short of eternity with only the most minimal of effort.
But yes, and also more things 8D I discovered two very delicious looking memes that I cannot wait to get started on, one is the The Pervert's Art Meme and the other is Jolta's Silent Hill Meme Looking to be a fun day of drawing =D Oh yeah, and happy Valentines to anyone who really gives a flying flint. I completely forgot that Tommy had an LJ 8D I'm so lame <3 Also I'm so pleased, Elindor from dA is waaaay fucking awesome! So so happy to have met her =D So I started the first of the Fanart100 today~ I decided to do number 75, which is shade. It's of Harry, surprisingly. Fancy that, of all people to draw for an HP Fanart100, it's Harry Potter 8D lolz, sarcasm! Forgive the gross topic which I am about to discuss. So I'm a 'commercial cleaner' right? *read: JANITOR* So I get to reap all the benefits of emptying trash, vacuuming, and of the dreaded task of cleansing of the toilet bowl and/or urinal. Which is the point of discussion tonight, folks. I swear these people have explosive diarrhea or something. How on earth does that stuff get onto the bottom of the toilet seat in such splatters?! I don't get it! Also, I find that there is an injustice that in the womens bathroom. There are two toilets, right? In the mens, they also have two toilets. And they also have two urinals. What gives? I think the urinal should be abandoned. Men need to learn to use the blasted regular toilet properly like the rest of us. Urinals are full of FAIL. FAIL. |
